One of eight children from the middle of nowhere in Missouri, DEWEY CADDELL found a wooden plate at 3 years old with a relief of the Manhattan skyline carved into it and pointed at the Empire State Building to select his future apartment.  He sang in church and anywhere people would let him until he found out theater is where all the girls were.  A current resident of Queens (his Empire State Building apartment is being renovated by it's current owners and occupants (he imagines)), he’s a singer, actor, dancer, writer, scholar, chef and (very) minor-league softball player (the most rare octuple threat).  He’s sung in Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, an Italian tour, for a number of presidents and heads of state and (most awesomely) backup for Kenny Rogers.  He works as a concert tenor, commercial/tv/film actor, and on and off Broadway.  As a comedian/improvisor, he’s worked at Upright Citizens Brigade, The People's Improv Theater, The Magnet and, most recently - Story Pirates, a collaboration ofImprovisors, comedians and musicians that focuses on kids and nurtures their ability to write creatively. Story Pirates is an amazing organization that combines talents from television, Broadway, Sesame Street and the upper echelons of the stand-up and improv world.
